The objects of the society are to promote and foster an appreciation of Jazz music in all its forms. To encourage the playing of live Jazz at selected venues. To actively encourage young musicians and Jazz enthusiasts to develop their talent for, and appreciation of, Jazz music. To provide an informal and non-competitive atmosphere in which members can develop their individual skills. To liase with and form affiliations with other Jazz associations and similar organisations. To make invitation to and host visiting Jazz groups and members of other Jazz organisations and individual performers.
