With the ever present increase in Roots music in the Boston area and surrounding northeast there seems to be a small presence of music publications that will pay attention to independent artists. Given the rise in popularity of Folk, Bluegrass, Americana etc, it only made sense that someone needed to write about it…so why not me? My first and foremost mission is to provide those folks making this wonderful music, with an attentive and new ear to listen, review, and provide feedback on their most recent projects…some days may include ramblings, live reviews, or simply CD, EP, single reviews that are sent to my attention.
