We have joined forces with PPL, the other of UK’s two music collecting societies, to set up PPL PRS Ltd, a joint venture combining the two societies’ public performance licensing activities. This joint licence, launched in early 2018 enables you to get a single licence, called TheMusicLicence to play or perform music in public. All pre-existing PRS for Music accounts are now managed by PPL PRS Ltd, so please contact PPL PRS Ltd if you have any queries about your PRS for Music licence. During the first year of PPL PRS Ltd’s operation, all pre-existing PRS for Music customers will be transitioned to TheMusicLicence.
