My name is Matthew Perpetua, and I?ve been writing Fluxblog on nearly every weekday since February of 2002. I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and I grew up in a small town called Cold Spring, which is located about 80 minutes north of Manhattan. I am a graduate of Parsons School of Design, but I have not done much in the way of visual art for a while. (It?s expensive.) I am an associate editor for RollingStone.com and contribute to Pitchfork. I have also written for Slate, New York Magazine?s Vulture, NPR, Associated Press, Spin Magazine, eMusic and MTV. I was the music producer of Public Radio International?s Fair Game with Faith Salie up until the show?s unfortunate cancellation in June of 2008
